Slovenia launches a digital nomad visa for remote workers

Slovenia recently introduced a digital nomad visa, allowing remote workers from non-EU/EEA countries to live and work in the country for up to 12 months. The initiative aims to attract international talent and boost long-term tourism. The visa is due to be launched on November 21, 2025, marking Slovenia’s first dedicated immigration route for remote professionals.
